Hiromi Ogata loves the time between night and morning, evening and night. She loves chickens, fuki-noto (butterbur sprouts) and roses.

 

She was born at the foot by the Mt. Fuji and later lived in Brasil with her family for two years.

Back in Japan she grew up near Mt. Yatsugatake.

Her first exhibition of paintings was held in the old Sake factory in Matsumoto with her younger brother.

She has exhibited her work in Tokyo, Prague, Yamanashi and České Budějovice, among other places.

 

She currently organizes “KUKAI” (meetings with Haiku) & “PUPALKA” (which means oenothera tetraptera in Czech) with her Czech husband.

絵と言葉の作家、銅版画家。

 

夜と朝、昼と夜の間の時間と、鶏とふきのとうとバラが好き。

 

富士山の麓で生まれ、2歳までブラジルですごし、八ヶ岳の麓で育つ。

長野県松本の旧酒蔵にて、弟と合同で初めての絵の展覧会を開催。

東京、プラハ、山梨、チェスケーブデヨヴィツェなどで個展を行う。

 

チェコ人の夫とともに、句会「月見草」(PUPALKAプパルカ)を主催し、俳句のワークショップ、翻訳なども行う。
